DEVIL RARITY INDEX
'The Devils' are an official Manchester United digital collectible, the second released by Tezos, club sponsor in 2022 (following release of 'The Keys'). Inspired by the past, present and future of the Club, 7,777 non-fungible token (NFT) Devils were released to fans in December 2022, at an initial mint price of �30. Minted on the Tezos blockchain, the Devils sold out within a few days of launch, and can now be acquired on secondary markets, such as objkt.com and rarible.com
Since launch, the Devils NFTs have had multiple utility. Further airdrops of Manchester United NFTs have followed for holders, as well as free prize draw entries for VIP tickets for both the men's and women's teams. Some of the rarer airdrops are re-selling on NFT platforms.
The Devil Rarity Index below was made for personal use, but is shared for the benefit of the wider Devil community. It helps to estimate the rarity of individual Devils, based on the mix of traits present.
A higher Rarity Index score indicates a rarer Devil. It is important to note, however, that certain traits carry a premium
not linked to rarity, but linked to utility. See the Devil Utility Traits section below the rarity checker for more information on this.
To use the Devil Rarity Index select the traits of a Devil by clicking on the lists below and selecting the appropriate traits. You can see the traits of Devils on marketplaces such as objkt.com and rarible.com
The overall score is shown in
yellow if you are using a compatible browser. The rarest Devil has a score of 23336.25 (Token ID 6,739).

DEVIL UTILITY TRAITS
Shortly after launch, it was announced that several Devil trails would yield additional utility, linked to on-pitch moments, for both the Manchester United men's and women's teams. Utility was by way of free airdrop NFTs, rewarded to holders of Devils containing certain trails.
For example, Devils with the 'Classic Pose' trait, would be rewarded should a player from the men or women's team score a goal from a free-kick. Devils with the 'Trident Up' trait, would be rewarded should a player from the men or women's team score a hat-trick.
You can see a full list of the Devil Utility Traits in the image to the left (Nb. this was published on the official Devils Discord channel).
Since that announcement, Devil NFTs with these specific traits have been commanding a premium, regardless of overall rarity.
For example, there have been numerous example of Red Devils with the 'Scarf' trait (which rewards holders if the men's or women's teams win 3 home games in-a-row) selling for more than Green Devils (which are inherently rarer) on the secondary markets.
It is not known how long utility will be attached to these traits, but for the time being, prices in the secondary market reflect the potential rewards.
